Tabasco Sauce
A hot, spicy sauce made from vinegar and red chilli
peppers.
Tabbouleh
A cold Middle Eastern dish that consists of tomatoes,
bulgar wheat, lemon juice, onions, parsley, and olive
oil.
Tahini
A paste made from sesame seeds.
Tamarind
A sweet and sour fruit that is used in Indian cooking
as well as Worcestershire sauce.
Tarragon
A herb, often with an aniseed flavour, used as a flavouring.
Terrine
A meat pâté made in a deep dish with straight
sides.
Timbale
A layered dish cooked in a mould (timbale) and turned
out.
Treacle
A dark viscous sugar syrup.
Tripe
The stomach of a cow, pig or sheep.
Truffle
An underground rounded, irregular shaped fungus with
a distinctive.
Turmeric
A popular Indian spice that is used widely for it aromatic
and coloring properties.
