Brie En Brioche

Thanks to my new friend Cynthia from Northern New York State for another wonderful recipe.

(shortcut method)

Ingredients:

1 wedge of Brie
1 or 2 cans Cresent Rolls dough (any brand)
1 bag frozen or fresh spinach
1 pack white mushrooms sliced

Directions:

  • Lightly gease a cookie sheet
  • Arrange cresent roll dough in the shape of your Brie wedge. Blend the edges
    together
  • Place Brie on top of dough, then shape dough around top and sides of Brie.
  • Seal edges together
  • Bake as directed on dough pkg, til golden brown.
  • While it's baking saute spinach and mushrooms in 1tbs olive oil with some
    minced garlic. Season to taste
  • When the brioche is done remove it to a serving platter. Cut it open and
    fill with spinach mixture
  • Serve warm with wine

Hint: This really does work great with Limburger cheese too.
